Truth-staking is a way to back your claim with real skin in the game—by staking Wownero (WOW) offchain. It’s not optional: every post or reply must include a WOW stake. If your claim holds up, your stake is returned after a set period. If it’s successfully disputed, your stake may be slashed.

Here’s how it works:

🧾 1. Post or Reply with a Truth-Claim

• On TrueWows.com> you can:
• Start a new claim you believe is true.
• Or reply to an existing claim with your own perspective or counterclaim.
• Every post or reply requires a WOW stake—no exceptions.

💡 Claims should be factual, reasoned, or testable. The platform is built for meaningful debate, not casual opinions.

💸 2. Stake Wownero Offchain

• When posting, you’ll be prompted to enter the amount of WOW you want to stake.
• You’ll need to fund your TrueWows account with WOW beforehand (via wallet transfer).
• The stake is held offchain—not on the Wownero blockchain, but securely tracked by the platform.

🔐 Your stake is locked for 7 days by default. If undisputed, it’s returned automatically after that period.

👥 3. Community Interaction

• Other users can:
• Dispute your claim by posting a counterclaim and staking WOW against it.
• Add additional stake to your post if they support it—this amplifies its signal.
• Comment and debate in the thread to build context and challenge ideas.

📈 The more stake and engagement a post gets, the more visible and credible it becomes.

⚔️ 4. Dispute & Resolution

• If your claim is challenged:
• A review process evaluates both sides based on evidence and reasoning.
• If your claim is invalidated, your WOW stake is slashed and may be awarded to the challenger.
• If your claim holds, your stake remains intact and your reputation grows.
